How to activate?

To use data, you need to activate it first. Unless you have a Blackberry phone, iPhone OS, or Android, we recommend that you activate your data on this page — you can do this one of the following ways
  • By text  message:
    You can easily enable your Mobile Internet by SMS. Just send a free text containing the word 'Internet' to 3311 and follow the below instructions.
    1) Open your SMS and enter the PIN Code - '1234'
    2) Follow the on screen instructions and if your phone asks you to save the new setting, select 'Yes' or 'OK'
  • By calling our Customer Services Team

If that doesn’t work

Using a capital ‘I’ and then non capitals, text the word Internet to 3311

Got an iPhone OS, or Android OS? 
iPhone OS or Android OS users will need to set their data APN manually. It’s simple — go to your network/data configuration settings. From there all you need to do is change your Access Point Name (APN) to mobile.barablu.com Click iPhone OS  or Android, to see instructions to enable data manually.


Please note
Data should work automatically with all other OS handsets, as soon as you enable it. If you still have issues getting it to work, we advise the following:
  • Setting the Access Point Name (APN) to Mobile.barablu.com in your handset.
  • Turning the internet connection off and on again.
 
 NOTE: Internet can’t be used with Blackberry phones.
